We are currently looking to expand our service by increasing our number of volunteers to help us provide an even higher quality of service.

As a volunteer you can choose how much time you can offer each month to Leeds LGB Switchboard, and you will receive a full training package, including partnership with a switchboard mentor, a planned training programme and on-going training and development of relevant skills. And if this wasn't enough, there are opportunities to become involved in other areas, such as Marketing and Publicity, Website Development, Fundraising or helping to run our women's social and support group, Stepping Out.

As one Switchboard volunteer explained: "I have enjoyed volunteering for Switchboard and having the chance to develop new skills and feel as if I am doing something to help other people in the gay community. I have also enjoyed making new friends at Switchboard and seeing other volunteers socially."
